Prescribed Burn Notification Saturday 30th Sep – Elizabeth Park North, Scotland Island

The RFS, on behalf of Northern Beaches Council will be conducting a hazard reduction burn on the northern side of Elizabeth Park on Saturday 30th September.

Residents in the area should keep doors and windows closed and keep outdoor furniture under cover.

There will be fire vehicles and crews operating in the area, especially along the fire trail at the top of the island and the hairpin. Please avoid these areas if you can. If you must pass through the area please slow down, proceed with caution and follow the instructions of fire crews.

Tree Removals with Ausgrid Power Outage 12 & 13 October

Council will be undertaking tree removals in conjunction with an Ausgrid Power Outage on the 12^th & 13^th October.

Active Tree Service will be undertaking the removal at 43 Robertson Road on the 12^th and the removal at 81 Florence Terrace on the 13^th.

Due to the large equipment required by them and Ausgrid access will be very limited once the site has been set up although every endeavour will be made to assist movement where safe to do so.
